I'm no guitar genius. I just learned a little something-something. I enjoy it. Well, yeah, the fingertips of my left hand hurt on the early days. But it doesn't. Not anymore. Besides, helps me on my singing and songwriting. (Geez, I feel more and more like Taylor Swift every day!) I'm trying to do the chord progression for "Don't Rush", but... I'm stuck! It's supposed to be an upbeat rock-ish song (Like Miley, Demi Lovato, or Paramore) but I keep on playing on G-Em7-Cadd9-D unconsciously. It's not bad, but it doesn't fit the song. I don't wanna use the D-A-Em-G because too many songs use that already.
What the heck. I'll figure something out.
Speaking of guitar... Since I don't play any other instruments that can help me with my music, I've been learning some songs and planning to do covers for it. Damn it! I just remembered that I promised Daniel to do Cascada's "Evacuate The Dancefloor". Maybe I should make an acoustic version of it. Maybe I should make the acoustic versions of that kind of music; Cascada, Lady Gaga, Jesse McCartney...
Great. Now I feel like Kris Allen. Always with a guitar. Not that it's bad, but... come on. I've never been a fan of him. I'm always for Adam Lambert when they were in Idol. Though it is kinda unique to turn a dance music into an acoustic. Look up Kris Allen's cover of Kanye West's "Heartless". Kanye's voice was, like, synthesized in his original song. Kris' version is... acoustic. And it's pretty good. I don't see anything bad about it. My range is probably almost the same as Kris (Except that I'm a girl. Alto.)
Bottom line is... music is freedom. I'm free to write or sing about anything. Anything I want. What the heck. Eff what people said!
Song of the entry is No Boundaries by Adam Lambert/Kris Allen (I like Adam's because his unique vocals, Kris' because his guitar playing lol)
