The Song!

This is it. The song I'd like to dedicate to 'you-know-who'. Not the 'Ex-Man' you-know-who, but 'McDreamy' you-know-who. I finished it in class. Ridiculous to write it when your headmistress is explaining about force and Newton and stuff, yes. But, it's probably the 'deepest' song I've written yet. Here it is.

The Reason

The canvas is plain and white
The pages are dull and empty
I have no reason to fight
For I've never believed what I see

You came into my life
Like a dream come true
Oh I feel so alive
All because of you

Your smile lightens up my day
I wanna make you mine if I may
Your voice keeps whispering in my ear
As if you're really here
You're the reason for this song
to be written

I hear your voice like a beautiful music
Playing in my mind
It gives me the feeling
It's only a matter of time

Your smile lightens up my day
I wanna make you mine if I may
Your voice keeps whispering in my ear
As if you're really here
You're the reason for this song
to be written

When I see your face,
A hundred poems I'll write about you
A thousand paintings I'll draw for you
A million songs I'll sing for you

But if you're gone, when your gone,
The poems will be just letters
The paintings will be just splatters
The songs will be just noises

The sky was never that blue
Until I see you

'Cuz your smile lightens up my day
I wanna make you mine if I may
Your voice keeps whispering in my ear
As if you're really here
You're the reason for this song
to be written

Without you this song would
never be written

You are the reason for
this song to be written.
